Badge & ID

If you work in a secured or sterile area, or other areas of the terminal and ramp, you are required to obtain an Access Media (SIDA) badge. If you are a hanger owner, airport tenant, one of their employees, or anyone else who conducts business or is based on the general aviation side of the airfield must obtain an airport issued Air Operations Area (AOA) identification badge for unescorted access to the aviation ramp area.

How can I get a badge?

The following are the steps for completing the badging process:

New Badges

  1. Schedule a badging appointment through the scheduling portal. The link to the scheduling portal can be found below.
  2. Attend the badging appointment at the scheduled time with your two forms of ID, badging paperwork that has been signed by a signatory, and a form of payment (if necessary). A list of acceptable documents can be found below.
  3. Once the background process is completed, an email will be sent to the badge holder and their signatory informing them that the applicant can begin the testing process. The badge holder will access the training portal and complete all assigned training remotely. The badge holder’s badge number is their Unique ID. A link to the training portal can be found below.
  4. Once the assigned training is completed, the badge holder will schedule another badging appointment where they will receive their new badge.

Renewals

  1. Complete the assigned training through the training portal. Training must be completed during the same month as the expiration date on the badge and before a scheduled badge appointment. The badge holder’s badge number is their Unique ID. A link to the training portal can be found below.
  2. After the assigned training is completed, the badge holder can schedule a badging appointment through the portal. A link to the scheduling portal can be found below.
  3. Attend the badging appointment at the scheduled time with your two forms of ID, badging paperwork that has been signed by a signatory, and a form of payment (if necessary).
  4. The badge holder will receive a new badge that is valid for another calendar year.

Where can I get a badge?

Badging appointments are conducted at the Operations and Badging Office located in the main lobby of the terminal.

Badging Fees are only payable by credit card or invoice.

Badge Return

Failure to return, deactivate, or loss of a badge will result in $200 fine assessed to the company. If you have filed a police report listing the badge missing or stolen, you will not be charged as long as you provide the Operations Department with the police report.
